For some reason Svetochka Ptichkina is considered to be a silly girl. They do not even call her by name, but "Ptichka" ("Birdie"), as if hinting at her constant getting into some messes, like a silly sparrow. And again she is out of luck: she gets tangled up in a criminal affair. "That's One Heck of a Joke" is the first part of the detective cycle "Positive Thinking and Female Silliness", a real detective story for real detective-lovers.
