Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) - one of the founding fathers of the United States, politician, diplomat, scientist, writer, journalist, publisher. He was the one who signed the US Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Treaty of Versailles in 1783, which formally ended the war for the independence of the thirteen British colonies in North America from Great Britain. These are the three main documents on which the United States has been built.
Franklin was the 15th child in the family, and it seemed that his life was determined ahead of time. However, he managed to go from an assistant seller of tallow candles to a revered head of state.
