"Papers from Overlook-House" by Frederic W. Beasley is a collection of letters and essays which were carefully copied from their original manuscript. Starting by explaining Overlook House, the setting where Almore conducted his writing, then moving on to the local neighbors and the way it worked from the flowers he gathered to the economy. Finally, and most importantly, he shared some of his most personal and intimate thoughts about life, death, and those he loved.
