This project provides a new concept design of theEMPB system that has simple and low-costcharacteristics. This paper deals with designing, analysisand fabrication of EMPB system.Electromechanical parking brake system also referred toas brake by-wire, replace conventional parking brakingsystems with a completely electrical component system.This occurs by replacing conventional linkages withelectric motor-driven units. The braking force isgenerated directly at each wheel by high performanceelectric motors and gear reduction, which are controlledby an ECU.
