<p><i>This book introduces and reviews the essential principles of Veterinary Public Health, </i><i>Zoonoses, One Health, principles and applications of epidemiology in studying infectious diseases including foodborne infections and intoxications.</i></p><p><i>The initial chapters discuss the concept and principal functions of </i><i>Veterinary Public Health. The book further covers the impacts of Veterinary Public Health on human Health particularly in management of zoonoses.</i></p><p><i>The following section discusses theapplication of epidemiology in the study of</i><i> outbreaks, epidemic, pandemics and their prevention and control strategies.
